Avoid alcohol 24 hours before your appointment to reduce bruising. Stay hydrated and drink plenty of water for optimal results. Avoid blood-thinning/anti-inflammatory medications like aspirin for two weeks before treatment (unless prescribed). Schedule any dental work at least two weeks before or after your appointment. Have a balanced meal before your treatment to prevent feeling light-headed. Arrive with a clean face—no makeup or skincare products. Otherwise, we’ll wipe it off for you! Notify us if you have any health issues, cold sores, or if you’re pregnant or breastfeeding.
Keep your head upright and your body inclined for the first four hours post-treatment.
Refrain from touching, rubbing, or massaging the treated areas for at least 24 hours after injection.
If you experience any discomfort, gently apply ice to the treated area or take Tylenol as needed.
Avoid strenuous exercise and activities that may cause sweating for 24 hours.
Stay out of direct sunlight for 24-72 hours after treatment. 
Avoid additional skin treatments, such as laser resurfacing, microdermabrasion, or IPL, for at least 7-10 days.

To get the best results from your Botox or Dysport treatment, there are a few simple things to keep in mind. Avoid alcohol for 24 hours before your appointment to help reduce bruising, and stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water. It’s also a good idea to avoid blood-thinning medications like aspirin for two weeks prior to treatment, unless prescribed by your doctor. If you have any dental work scheduled, try to book it at least two weeks before or after your Botox appointment. Be sure to eat a balanced meal beforehand to avoid feeling light-headed.
