Hands Off

Don’t rub, press, or touch the treated area for at least 24 hours unless your provider specifically advises otherwise. Avoid wearing glasses for at least 24 hours as well.

Limit Activity

Skip intense exercise or heavy exertion for the first day after your treatment.

Alcohol & Medications

Don’t drink alcohol or use blood-thinning substances for 24 hours post-treatment, and 2-3 days pre-treatment, to minimize swelling and bruising.

Sleeping Position

If you notice swelling, try resting on your back with your head slightly elevated.

Soothing Options
